Our program blends the flexibility families value with the guidance of certified educators, offering virtual classes, hands-on STEM learning, and personalized academic support. Families partner with HomeSTEM Academy as their private virtual school to create a learning experience that is rigorous, engaging, and thoughtfully tailored to each child’s academic and developmental needs.
HomeSTEM Academy currently serves Kindergarten through 8th grade and is committed to expanding one grade level each year through 12th grade.
At HomeSTEM Academy, STEM education is the foundation of our curriculum. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application skills, while also building perseverance, curiosity, and confidence needed for future success.

Hi, I’m Dr. Takisha Gastile—educator, STEM advocate, and homeschooling parent with nearly 20 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. I have coached future science and math teachers, led curriculum development, and secured funding to expand access to STEM education for underrepresented students.
Recognizing the need for flexible, high-quality online STEM education, I founded HomeSTEM Academy to provide families with a structured virtual homeschool that combines strong academics, hands-on learning, and meaningful parent partnership.
